Tamara Thompson joined Executive Risk Solutions as Manager, Human Resources in June 2021. Reporting to Wayne Weeks, our Chief Operations Officer, Tamara has a breadth of Human Resources experience spanning 12 years in Health and Mining Resources.
Tamara is an expert across a range of generalist areas and is responsible for driving HR strategy and operational excellence across the company. Following 6 years in HR/Safety Management for Community and Not for Profit healthcare organisations in Darwin, Tamara relocated to Perth where she continued to lead a variety of HR operation functions and projects as a Human Resources Business Partner. Her skill set is vast, specialising in recruitment, transformational change, vaccination programs and employee relations including ethics investigations in national and global organisations across the aged care, health, and mining sectors.
Tamara holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Human Resources from Charles Darwin University. Tamara is passionate about how people and culture impact safety, holds an Advanced Diploma of Work Health and Safety, and is trained as a return to work coordinator, mediator and peer support officer. Tamara has been an Australian Human Resource Institute (MAHRI) Professional Member since 2012.
