Executive Risk Solutions and HHG legal group ‘ seminar on The Global Kidnapping Risk and Challenges for Australian Companies was a great success last night.
In a global context, kidnap for ransom, extortion and illegal detention events continue to rise year on year. Additionally, kidnapping has moved from its traditional home in Latin America to less traditional locations in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
In this session Executive Risk Solutions’ panel of experts Tim Curtis and Daniel Wright explained the global threat as well as the anatomy of a kidnapping. Then, in the broader context of crisis management , discussed some recent case studies and lessons learnt.
