NICHOLAS BRASINGTON, CHAIRMAN
Nick retired from PwC in 2018 after an international career spanning 35 years. Prior to his retirement, Nick was a member of the PwC Global Assurance Leadership Executive which provides strategic direction and oversight of all assurance services throughout its global network.
During his career Nick held a variety of international leadership and senior management roles based in Melbourne, London, Lisbon, Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and Perth. His responsibilities across multiple geographical areas included CEO, Markets Leader, Quality and Risk Leader and Senior Engagement Partner specialising in assurance and capital market transactions. Much of his career has been focused within the global emerging markets.
Nick is a member of the WA Museum Foundation’s Board of Governors, a Trustee of the SAS Resources Fund Board and is an acting mentor and advisor to a number of private companies and CEO’s.
JOHN POYNTON AO
John Poynton has extensive capital markets and corporate governance experience in commercial, government and not-for-profit sectors. John is Chair of Jindalee Partners, Strike Energy Limited and Deputy Chair of Sapien Cyber Limited. He is a Director of the Future Fund Board of Guardians (Australia’s sovereign wealth fund) and Crown Resorts Limited. John was a co-founder of leading investment banking firm Azure Capital Limited and from 2014 to 2018 John was Chair of Christ Church Grammar School Council.
John is an Officer in the General Division of the Order of Australia and is a past recipient of a WA Citizen of the Year award in the industry and commerce category. John holds a Bachelor of Commerce and an Honorary Doctor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia.
Peter has over 40 years of experience, primarily in the onshore and offshore Oil & Gas Industry including LNG. His main roles spanned Engineering and Construction and in latter years, Public & Investor Relations, M&A and Business Development.
His last major role was Group Manager of Business Development at Clough Limited. Peter was also Group Manager of Corporate Affairs for 3 years in his 17 years at Clough. Other previous permanent employers include Kaiser, Foxboro, Worley Alumina and BHP. He currently holds part-time roles with Seatrax, OGS Global & BAM International.
Peter is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
An extensively experienced and practical executive in the engineering industry with over 30 years’ service, more specifically in the oil and gas sector since 1988.
His experience has been gained through a wide array of projects throughout Australia and Overseas working in the area of Design, System Analyzing, Commissioning and Construction before commencing in Business Development and then finally Company Management and Directorships.
Jason has extensive experience in line and project management roles and more particularly in change management, people development and team motivation. He has extensive experience leading and working in teams associated with design, construction and commissioning of world-scale capital projects in both ‘brownfields’ and ‘greenfields’ scenarios.
