Matthew O’Shea MBA
Matthew O’Shea is a health management professional with a strong clinical background and many years’ experience in the design, development and deployment of healthcare solutions for complex environments. Matthew has a proven track record of creating and leading high performance health teams, as well as delivering innovative and comprehensive project solutions in both the military and commercial sector.
With 18 years military service as a health professional with Australia’s Special Forces Matthew has a strong leadership background and outstanding problem solving and communication skills. He has a unique ability to address complex issues with multi-stakeholder interests at both strategic and operational levels.
In the private sector Matthew has owned and operated his own Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and consulting business. He has worked in senior management roles for a number of organisations and consulted to ASX listed companies and government departments on a range of health management issues, both at a strategic and operational level. Matthew has also worked as an executive and advisor, pro-bono, for several Not For Profit organisations, as well as contributing to several health workforce reform committees.
Matthew has an intuitive and strategic appreciation of emerging global healthcare trends and has a real passion for creating economically sensible digital healthcare solutions. He currently holds a provisional patent on ehealth technology in Australia.
